Quake 3 point release
id Software have released a beta version of the Quake 3 Arena point release, fixing all sorts of problems like the terrible scoreboards, having the CD key appear unencrypted in people's config files, and bots talking all the time even when you're standing right next to them.
Before you get too excited though, this beta patch only weighs in at 1.1Mb, so don't be expecting any new maps! Download the patch from one of the following outlets -
