The Ultima(te) demo

The eagerly awaited Ultima IX demo (as featured on the cover disk of the December issue of Computer Gaming World magazine in the US) has been posted over at 3D Files.

Now the bad news. It weighs in at a monstrous, bandwidth sapping .. 295Mb! No, that's not a typo. This truly is the mother of them all, the Demo That Ate Manhattan. As Janice would say, "Oh .. my .. God!"

For those of you without a personal T1, an "internet demo" should be released within the next month, and will no doubt be a bit less hefty.
