Activision reveals X-Men: Destiny

Activision's sent out a bare-bones press release to announce the development of X-Men: Destiny.
You'll play as "new mutant recruits" in a "branching storyline" that has a "deep" amount of choice and offers "ultimate control" of your destiny.
However, useful information - such as platforms, dates and a developer - isn't given.
Destiny will "invade game consoles next autumn". It's got an original storyline penned by X-Men: Legacy writer Mike Carey.
Apparently more will be unearthed this week.
