Aardman, Eurosport, Sky content for 3DS

3DS Spot Pass brings you free TV.

Nintendo has partnered with Sky 3D, Aardman and Eurosport to bring 3DS users free content delivered via the handheld's always-on Spot Pass wi-fi feature.

Speaking at a 3DS event in Amsterdam, Nintendo explained that shortform video content will be automatically delivered to your system when you pass through a BTFon hotspot.

No word yet on exactly what sort of content Sky 3D and Eurosport are planning, but Aardman announced an exclusive one minute long Shaun the Sheep clip was in the works.

More details to follow.
