13 years after Age of Mythology came out, a new expansion is in the works

Timeless.

Age of Mythology is getting a new expansion 13 years after the game came out.

Ensemble Studios' strategy game launched on PC in 2002, and, a year later, saw the release of expansion pack The Titans.

Now, a new expansion pack called Tale of the Dragon has been announced. It's in development at Forgotten Empires and SkyBox Labs, the two studios who have worked on Age of Empires 2 HD Edition and last year's Age of Mythology: The Extended Edition, which includes the base game and the Titans expansion, as well as Steamworks integration, Twitch support, an enhanced observer mode, native HD widescreen and improved water and lighting.

Forgotten Empires will hold a livestream on Twitch on 2nd October to reveal more on Tale of the Dragon.
