Resident Evil: Revelations port gets devilish new Infernal Mode

Fresh trailer offers a Hunk of new gameplay footage.

Capcom has demoed the new "extremely difficult" Infernal Mode for Resident Evil: Revelations, one of the 3DS game's big changes for PC and home console versions.

Infernal Mode won't just be harder - enemies and item placing has also been randomised to challenge even experienced players.

There's also a new enemy, the Wall Blister, another mutation of the T-Abyss virus.

Revelations is due to launch in boxed form for PC, PlayStation 3, Wii U and Xbox 360 on 24th May (21st in North America).

Digital versions for PC and PlayStation 3 will be available on that date, and for other platforms later on.

But the game won't be coming to PlayStation Vita, Capcom has confirmed. The company has claimed this is to focus on "the big screen experience" for its horror title, and not a reflection on the handheld's lacklustre hardware sales.
