New Hitman novel announced
Bridges the gap between Blood Money and Absolution.
A new novel based in the Hitman universe arrives in bookshops this Summer, franchise custodian Square Enix has announced.
Authored by Raymond Benson and published by Del Ray and a, it's titled Hitman: Damnation and takes place between 2006's Blood Money and the forthcoming Absolution.
The plot sees Agent 47 tasked with assassinating various high-level US political figures. However, he smells a rat and is duly plunged into a web of lies, deceit and murder.
Benson's CV includes six James Bond novels, two Splinter Cell tie-ins and last year's Homefront: The Voice of Freedom video game novelisation.
Hitman: Absolution, the fifth game in the IO Interactive-developed stealth series, is scheduled for release on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 later this year.
