New Homefront DLC announced

The Rock adds new multiplayer maps.

A new map pack is on its way for THQ shooter Homefront.

The Rock DLC adds two new multiplayer maps. Alacatraz is set in the infamous San Francisco island prison, while Bridge sees you attempting to secure the North Tower of the Golden Gate Bridge.

There are also two new Team Deathmatch areas - Waterway and Overpass.

Priced at 400 Points, it's "coming soon" to Xbox Live, with PC and PSN roll-outs to follow sometime thereafter.

FFS so ps3 and pc users have had the SHIT connections as everyones else but stuck with the game....yet they hold back DLC?

That's because, as with the original DLC, 360 gets it first due to MS being very supportive of the developers.

You're still getting it though, so siddown and shaddup!

But does it add some Ed Harris? Or is he exclusive to Black Ops?

There are still a few issues with the last DLC, whenever one of the map comes up the server drops from 32 to about a dozen players. Not sure whether those who don't have the DLC are still getting booted to the main menu or not.

Alcatraz should be fun. You only get to hear about it over the radio in the final mission. Come to think of it, the other ground control map seems to take place during the final story mission too.

I'll be buying but it's a shame they'll be splitting the small community even more. The way it simply boots players who don't have the DLC as maps rotate is also a pain

The game has it's issues, the servers for example still have issues sometimes when joining games with friends, though for all it's faults I absolutely love it, it's just a great multiplayer shooter.

Give the multiplayer demo a go if you haven't already! And if you have the game try it anyway, noob slaying is fun!

Tried the demo and absolutely hated it, 400 points seems good though for those who like it i suppose

I have a lot more fun playing this online than CoD or Battlefield recently. It's a really nice middle-ground between the two series.
