Castlevania: Lords of Shadow dated
Updated with UK confirmation.
Update: Konami has confirmed to Eurogamer that Castlevania: Lords of Shadow will be released on 8th October in the UK.
Original story: Fancy-pants Castlevania action game Lords of Shadow has been given a 5th October release date. That's a Tuesday, which means that's a US date.
Castlevania: Lords of Shadow catapults the licence into sumptuous 3D. You're hero Gabriel Belmont, who must plunge into a monster filled world to rescue his wife from limbo. Interestingly, Hideo Kojima - he of Metal Gear Solid renown - has had an overseer role on the game.
So far, we've liked what we've seen.
Castlevania: Lords of Shadow will be playable at the Eurogamer Expo this year, which takes place on 1st to 3rd October at Earl's Court in London. Tickets are £8. If you dress up, I'll kiss you.

Enslaved looks like a cool story / character driven game (summin of the uncharted quality that 360 owners haven't yet had a massive shower off). Then this for some good ol hack / slash
