World of Tanks: Xbox 360 Edition release date confirmed

F2P with an Xbox Live Gold account. 7 day trial without.

World of Tanks: Xbox 360 Edition launches on 12th February, Wargaming has announced.

This version was developed by Wargaming West, formerly Day 1 Studios, creator of MechAssault, and is published by Microsoft.

It's free to play if you have an Xbox Live Gold account. If you don't, there's a seven day trial. Expect microtransactions, such as premium tanks, consumables and premium accounts which "boost experience and currency accrual rates", Wargaming said.

At launch the Xbox 360 version will feature more than 100 tanks from the United States, Germany and the United Kingdom. New tanks from new nations will be added later.
