PlayStation Plus subscribers will be able to take part in the Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood multiplayer beta a week before anyone else, Sony's announced.

It launches on 27th September. Details are yet to be revealed.

On 4th October the beta will open up to all other PS3 owners. To join in, you need to pre-order the game. Participating retailers are Play.com and GAME.

There is another way to play the game before then, of course - at the Eurogamer Expo 2010 on 1st to 3rd October. We'll be hosting both multiplayer and single-player demonstrations of the game at Earl's Court in London.

Tickets are only £8, and the venue is open from 11am to 7pm each day. Snap a ticket up now.
