Nintendo and Sony customer support are here to help Fortnite players worried by the Blackout

"Please be assured..."

Can't connect to Fortnite today? Worried there's something wrong? Nintendo's customer support website has you covered.

A new support page covers the issue "Unable to play Fortnite due to Blackout", which provides... well, pretty much the answer you expect.

"The information in this article can help you when you're unable to play Fortnite during the Fortnite Blackout," Nintendo begins.

"Due to the Fortnite Blackout, all game modes are currently unavailable for play. Please be assured that your inventory items and V-Bucks are secure.

"For any other questions or concerns, please contact Epic Games for assistance."

It follows a similar message of reassurance from Sony's Ask PlayStation Twitter account:

Fortnite is, of course, down by design following last night's cataclysmic in-game event which wiped out its island for good. When will Fortnite season 11 start? Nintendo doesn't have an answer for that one, alas.
