A representative from Electronic Arts UK has confirmed to Eurogamer that, despite rumours to the contrary, there are currently no plans to release The Godfather on any Nintendo consoles.

The rumours emerged after some bright spark spotted that EA Italy had the game down as a GameCube, Game Boy Advance and Nintendo DS title on its website.

But EA told us that The Godfather will only be coming out on PC, PS2, PSP, Xbox and Xbox 360, and that's a fact. Ah well.

There's still no confirmation as to whether the game will feature Marlon Brando's voice - according to a report in the New York Times earlier this week, his constant wheezing during the recording session made his dialogue unusable. We'll keep you posted.
