More Sony HD Collections coming

Reaction to GOW Collection sealed deal.

Sony fans can expect more HD Collections of classic PlayStation 2 games on PS3.

Sony has already released God of War Collection and plans to release The Sly Collection this autumn.

Sony Computer Entertainment Worldwide Studios boss Shuhei Yoshida told IGN to expect more.

"Santa Monica Studios had the brilliant idea to upgrade and improve God of War for PS3 with the God of War Collection that we released last year.

"There were a lot of positive reactions from consumers in doing that, and now we get a lot of suggestions for types of packs they'd like to see.

"So we are looking to continue to do these HD conversions."

The Sly Collection, announced at E3, includes all three Sly Cooper PS2 games in HD with Move and Trophy support. Sly 3: Among Thieves will also work in 3D.
