Metal Slug 3 coming to PS4, PS3 and Vita this winter

SNK Playmore promises top notch NeoGeo emulation work.

Metal Slug 3 launches on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and Vita this winter, SNK Playmore has announced.

The cult classic 2D arcade shooter releases on the PlayStation Store with "some of the highest-level quality of NeoGeo emulation seen on PSN yet," SNK Playmore's Adam Laatz promised on the PlayStation Blog.

It also has online features, although Laatz stopped short of revealing what they would be.

Metal Slug 3 was first released in 2000 as an arcade game. It was later ported to pretty much every platform, including the PlayStation 2, Xbox, Xbox 360, Virtual Console, Steam and mobile devices.

We don't have any assets for the new PlayStation version, so lets watch a video of the arcade version while we wait.
