Homefront PC developer named

THQ gets loose lips.

THQ has revealed the Homefront PC developer as Digital Extremes.

That studio most recently delivered 2008's decent shooter Dark Sector. Before that, Pariah and Warpath. Digital Extremes also made BioShock for PS3 and the multiplayer part of BioShock 2.

Kaos Studios, creator of Frontlines: Fuel of War, is making the console versions of Homefront.

Homefront is THQ's thinly veiled attempt at establishing a Call of Duty-like IP. We took a good look in June.

Homefront is due out in February 2011.

Homefront should epitomise THQ's new quality over quantity approach.
