FIFA 22 PC does not have a one machine limit, EA inists

After its Steam page said it did.

EA has insisted FIFA 22 on PC does not have a one machine limit, despite the fact the game's Steam page said it did.

Fans spotted a line on FIFA 22's Steam page yesterday that sparked a backlash: "one machine activation limit."

Here's how it looked yesterday, via a screenshot I took:

This line has now been removed. Here's how the FIFA 22 Steam page looks today:

What happened? The line was a mistake, EA told Eurogamer in a statement:

"We can confirm there is not a one machine limit for FIFA 22 on PC via Steam. This was listed incorrectly and the limitation has now been removed. We apologise for the confusion and thank our community for noticing the error."

That's that, then. Phew! Now the only thing FIFA PC gamers need to worry about is the fact their version is the last-gen version.
