Why people love the Ace Attorney games

Holding court on the latest Eurogamer Podcast.

The Ace Attorney series is breaking new ground this week, with a remaster of the Phoenix Wright trilogy making its console and PC debut.

It probably explains why, despite having such an ardent fanbase, few in the Eurogamer office have played an Ace Attorney game.

Podcast host Matthew Reynolds is joined by two long-time fans of the series - social media manager Paul Watson and Outside Xbox's Andy Farrant, as well as USGamer's Hirun Cryer, who played Phoenix Wright for the first time recently - to explain why fans love the series so much, and why there's no 'Objections' to saying the trilogy remaster is the perfect place to start. (That'll make sense once you play it.)

If you want to see more about Phoenix Wright, you can read Hirun's review on USGamer, and more from Andy and the Outside Xtra team in a recent video:
