Save big on some of our favourite PC games this Black Friday

There's up to 80% off on some titles.

This Black Friday, we have some great deals for you PC gamers out there that should keep you busy over the holidays. Whether you are after the classics or the latest blockbuster, there should be something here that you'd be into.

Let's start with the big launch of this month, Battlefield 2042. While the game is yet to officially release, you can already snag a deal, if you know where to look. Fortunately, we have already done the looking and if you head over to Gamesplanet then you can grab the standard edition of the game for £44.99 instead of the usual £49.99.

Speaking of pre-orders, perhaps you'd be more interested in the swords and magic over guns and tanks. In that case, the upcoming Elden Ring might be more your speed, provided you can surmount the difficulty that Souls games are known for. If you pre-order now, you can spend £42.49 instead and save 15 percent over the full price.

Ubisoft currently has some great publisher deals going for Black Friday on its store. You can grab the latest Far Cry 6 for £41.49, which is 17 percent off its usual price. The gold and ultimate edition have an even greater 20 percent discount and are selling for £67.19 and £79.99, respectively.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla has an even more impressive 58 percent discount, letting you grab the standard version for £21, deluxe edition for £28.14, gold edition for £35.28, and ultimate edition for £42.

Watch Dogs Legion is an open-world action game, like so many others, but distinguishes itself with an interesting take on a futuristic, dystopian London. The game has a 72 percent discount, letting you grab the standard edition for just £13.86, deluxe edition for £16.35, gold edition for £23.28, and ultimate edition for £27.72.

Moving on from Ubisoft, Rockstar's latest GTA Trilogy remaster may have been a bit of a misfire but there's no reason not to consider the excellent Red Dead Redemption 2, which is 55 percent off at £24.75. Fans of horror games should definitely check out the Outlast Trinity, a trilogy of games for just £6.73 (85 percent off). If you are into fighting games then Mortal Kombat 11 should really be up your alley, currently at just £8 (80 percent off).

If you don't want to pay anything at all, turns out, that is also an option. Ubisoft is giving away a Splinter Cell Chaos Theory for free till the 25th of November. And you can grab more free titles over on the Epic Games Store, which is giving away Never Alone, Guild of Dungeoneering, and Kid A Mnesia Exhibition for free.
