BBFC reveals Mortal Kombat Komplete Edition release date

Konfirmation?

The Mortal Kombat Komplete Edition will be released on 17th February 2012.

That's according to UK age-ratings body the BBFC, which handed out an 18 certificate this afternoon.

The BBFC only mentioned Xbox 360, and didn't discuss the game's content beyond "contains strong bloody violence".

We presume, however, that Mortal Kombat Komplete Edition will be released on both PS3 and Xbox 360.

We also presume it will include all DLC released so far for Mortal Kombat 9, hence the "Komplete" part of the name.

Publisher Warner Bros. was unavailable for comment.

Mortal Kombat 9 sold 3 million copies as of September, making the series reboot and debut Warner Bros. MK outing a success.

Eurogamer's Mortal Kombat 9 review awarded 7/10.
