SSF2T HD Remix XBLA beta dated

Available via Commando 3 this month.

Capcom has announced that the Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix beta for Xbox Live Arcade will start on 25th June.

We've previously been told to expect eight weeks of punching each other.

In order to access the beta, all you have to do is, er, spend 800 Microsoft Points (GBP 6.80 / EUR 9.60) on a copy of Wolf of the Battlefield: Commando 3, which came out yesterday.

As you'll know if you downloaded it, there's an HD Remix beta button at the bottom of the main menu, which currently brings up an Xbox Live error but, as of 25th June, will prompt you to download the beta.

You will then be able to access the beta from the "Demos" section of your "Games Library".

The full SSF2T HD Remix will be released on Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network alike later this year. Capcom has previously said the lack of a PSN beta is due to budget issues.

Speaking on the Capcom blog this week, community man Seth Killian reiterated: "the network improvements that we make post-Beta will improve the final, full product on XBL and PSN alike".
