March 21st is the date Nintendo will be releasing its Game Boy Player in Japan - a cunning peripheral that clips onto the bottom of the GameCube, enabling gamers to plug in Game Boy / Color / Advance carts and enjoy some old school gaming on their TVs.

A plethora of options will enable users to display the GBA image to their requirements, with the ability to soften or sharpen the image, as well as playing with a variety of borders or option to display in the full viewing area of the TV.

As usual, we await with bated breath for news of a European release (or price for that matter), but a two month delay seems likely. After all, the GBA SP debuts just over a month later than its Japanese debut - on March 28th if you've forgotten.
