Dragon Ball FighterZ Nintendo Switch open beta set for August

Test your might.

Dragon Ball FighterZ for Nintendo Switch gets an open beta in August, Bandai Namco has announced.

Bandai Namco added that the launch game, due out 28th September on Nintendo's console, includes new local multiplayer features such as 2v2 and 1v1 matches, as well as an offline six-player party match mode.

There are a number of controller options for the Nintendo Switch version of Arc System Works' fighting game. You can use a single Joy-con or a Pro Controller, if you want a more traditional experience. There are fighting sticks available for the Switch, too.

All the already-released DLC characters will be available to buy day one. If you pre-order you get immediate access to Goku and Vegeta SSGSS, and you get the Japanese version of obscure SNES game Dragon Ball Z: Super Butoden, which was released in Japan, France and Spain in 1993.
