LittleBigPlanet Karting launches in the UK and Ireland on Friday 9th November 2012, Sony has announced.

The Mario Kart-style spin-off launches across Europe on Wednesday 7th November. In the US it goes live on Tuesday, 6th November.

Beta access to LBP Karting, developed by ModNation maker United Front Games, was bestowed upon PlayStation Plus members last month. Like ModNation, LittleBigPlanet Karting's focus lies in online racing and user-generated levels, created with a powerful set of customisation tools.

Pre-order and you'll be able to download the Game Maker Pack. With this, you can dress up Sackboy as a racing car driver, as a mascot of United Front Games or as pretend PlayStation VP Kevin Butler. You can race in a racing car kart, arcade machine kart or executive golf buggy kart.
