Professor Layton's London Life is US-only

100-hour bonus RPG with Spectre's Call.

A full 100-hour RPG called London Life will be included in the US version of forthcoming DS puzzler Professor Layton and the Spectre's Call, but European gamers miss out, Nintendo has confirmed.

The extra mode is co-developed by Brownie Brown, the Nintendo-owned studio behind GBA cult classic Mother 3 and DS role-players Blue Dragon Plus and Heroes of Mana.

We've asked Nintendo UK for an explanation as to why it's not included with the European release. Expect a post-bank holiday update.

The next entry in the Layton saga, and the start of a brand new trilogy, launches here on 21st November, some time after its 17th October US date.
