Microsoft has revealed that Forza Motorsport 4 will be released on October 11th this year.

The news came at the end of a trailer showcasing the Xbox exclusive racer's cover star, the beautiful Ferrari 458 Italia.

Kinect compatibility will include voice recognition and headtracking, the trailer noted.

Multiplayer racing will support 16 players for the first time. There will be community car clubs, a "rivals mode" and an "epic world tour".

The Top Gear test track, first seen in games in Gran Turismo 5, could also be seen in the trailer.

Expect more on Forza 4 from E3 later in the week.
