    Maybe it's just the video, but the framerate looks atrocious.

    No idea what it's about but it looked pretty good all the same.

    Now that the trailer for the film and the game have done the rounds we can all see what pap this is going to be. The blue lizard element is way too jar jar binks for me. And the fantasy element art direction feels like a bad 80's Athena style poster. The kind of fantasy painting they found in Saddam Husseins house...

    Its space marines and aliens. Its been done in video games a thousand times before. What has the potential to be a spectacle on the silver screen looks painfully derivative on the video game console, no matter how impressive the technology driving it might be.

    That said I'll eat my words if derivative presentation gives way to innovative gameplay.

    I agree with you. But hey ho, you can always hope.

    So, it's Lost Planet meets Monster Hunter by way of Beyond Good & Evil... kinda?!

    Will be very surprised if this is better than yer standard movie game.

    Everyone watch the movie trailer again and tell me those aren't Pelicans and Hornets... They may as well just call it the Halo movie and forget the game tie-in.

    OK, maybe not quite, but the similarities certainly are striking.

    @aretak
    You'd think ubisoft would at least get good framerate on their own logo, right? I'm pretty sure it's poor quality vid.

    The films looks utter utter garbage... game will be utter poop as well.

    And judging by the screenshots and the footage at 1.10 Warthogs too.

    The visual parallels with Halo are really quite hard to dismiss.
