Relic doing Warhammer 40,000 ARPG
Space Marine heading to PS3 and 360.
THQ has unveiled Relic's upcoming PS3 and Xbox 360 action RPG, Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine.
Space Marine is a third-person hackandslash that puts you in control of a marine in a squad sent to try and retake a Forge world from the orks.
In footage shown to Eurogamer in Canada last week, an Ultramarine squad took on masses of Nobs and Warbosses in the shadow of titans, and ships overhead.
Although combat specifics were thin on the ground, we were told to expect a mixture of ranged and melee combat, and RPG-style upgrade and customisation systems.
Contrary to what Dawn of War fans might think though, this is not a Diablo-style extension of DOWII's single-player campaign, preferring a third-person perspective closer to something like God of War.
There were no exact details, but Relic also said that multiplayer is a big focus, and hinted at drop-in co-operative play over PlayStation Network and Xbox Live.

I'm not sure if you played it or not, but you can try Fire Warrior. It's exactly what this title seems to be aiming at, without the multiplayer component.
