Mullet sighted.

A poster promoting Uwe Boll's forthcoming movie bastardisation of Terminal Velocity's BloodRayne games popped up on the net this week. You can find it over at IMDB here.

The poster shows Rayne, played by Kristanna Loken of Terminator 3 fame, hamming it up with a pair of giant nightstick-like blades in her hands, much as Rayne uses in the game. It also features Ben Kingsley looking rather sad.

The film, which also appears to feature a mullet-ed Michael Madsen and will almost certainly suck if Boll's previous work on Alone in the Dark and House of the Dead is anything to go by, will be available soon.

Boll has also announced film adaptations of Far Cry, Fear Effect, Hunter: The Reckoning and Dungeon Siege according to IMDB. You can read more about the German director's work here.

She looks like Tamsin Outhwaite (I think that's her surname) of Eastenders fame. I can't understand how Uwe Bollocks continues to get work. Alone in the Dark, Fear effect and FarCry could've been good :'(

Just watched a teaser and it looks no worse than any other Hollywood summer action flick; in other words, yes it'll be crap. Although, so was the Mortal Kombat series she was in, but I liked that BECAUSE it was so kitsch/cheap/...bad.

I'm going to be banned now, aren't I?

What, in the name of all that is holy, has happened to Michael Madsen? It looks like something is nesting on his head. And no wonder Kingsley looks so distraut, Boll lied to get him in the film and he's realised his career is now over. The only thing that could save him is frequent use of the c-word.

Madsen is good in the right role. Unfortunately, he only 'does' one-character.

Amazingly though, he could turn in the worst performance of his life and he'd still not be able to bring himself down to Boll's level of incompetence.

This man is a menace!!
Didn't see Alone in the Dark, however from the trailer it did look a lot better than House of the Dead... that was one of the worst movies I'd seen i a long time... did he really think that intermixing shots from the actual game would substitute for special effects???

The poster for Bloodrayne looks terrible... Bloodrayne herself looks terrible... a long way from look the character in the game. We can only hope that the film turns out to just be crap... and not as bad as the embarassement that House of the Dead was....

worst movie ever for House of the Dead?

I think it would definately be in the running... it was beyond terrible!

Think they blew the budget on a slow motion spinny camera and then used it in every scene of the film. One minute someone would be running along with a shotgun, a zombie jumps out, it cuts to slow motion camera of the same person shooting two pistols, zombie dies, then it cuts back to them holding a shotgun.... Really got to wonder if anyone actually bothered watching the film before they released it!
