Zombie sequel buried until October.

Capcom has delayed Dead Rising 2 by one month, pushing the release back to 1st October here in Europe.

The US will play slightly earlier, from 28th September.

We're trying to find out how this will affect the Xbox 360 Case Zero DLC.

Dead Rising 2 tracks a new hero, Chuck Greene, as he tries to survive for 72 hours against a zombie swarm. He'll need to use all of the scenery to scythe his way to freedom.

Dead Rising 2 is in development for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.

Ah that's not too bad it's quite scary how many games I have to play right now anyway (thank you very much Steam you git!)

Hope this is good though as soon as I saw a chainsaw taped to a oar I knew I want this.

currently replaying through DR1 - even 4 years later, it's still a very unique game and a thrilling experience. Too bad I don't have any more secrets / achievements left to unveil, except for the dreaded 5/7 days survivor...

Disappointed - yes... but i can handle another month. It does seem like this game has been in development a long time though. Oh well have a good number of games to buy from August, so October is fine by me

I think I've had a pre-order on this for well over a year now..
it's getting really frustrating with it being constantly being delayed, but if it's good (and irons out a few of the iritating factors of the original), then I'll be happy anyway.

I'm not surprised considering the awful awful in-game videos they've shown. It's painfully obvious that the developers don't hace access to the Capcom Framework engine. This looks like a trainwreck, but I'm still hoping they will come through with this.

Looking forward to this. The delay doesn�t bother me as I�ve got lots to contend with. Another month in development to make an even more polished game is fine with me.
