This is what a full Evolve hunt looks like

Switch perspectives in new interactive trailer.

2K Games has released a new eight minute-long gameplay video for Evolve, the promising 4v1 first-person shooter from the creators of Left 4 Dead.

The video is interactive, so if you turn annotations on you can choose which perspective to view the hunt from: one of the four Hunters, or the Goliath. There's commentary from Aaron "Ayesee" Chambers and Turtle Rock Studios' Chris Ashton layered on top.

It's worth noting that HUD elements such as health bars, jetpack meters and player names were hidden for the purposes of the video.

Evolve is a competitive multiplayer sci-fi shooter due out this autumn on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. In it four players face off against a player-controlled monster, who can beef up its armour by eating local wildlife. The Hunters have a few tricks up their sleeve, too.

Evolve was originally being published by THQ, but following the publisher's bankruptcy the game was acquired by 2K Games for $10.8 million.
