Legend of Grimrock PC release date announced

Impressive indie dungeon crawler trailered.

Legend of Grimrock, an old-school dungeon crawler throwback from indie studio Almost Human, launches for PC on 11th April.

It will be available from either GOG, Steam or the game's own official site, priced at your local equivalent of $14.99. However, pre-order it now and you can get it for $11.99.

On top of that, all pre-orders get access to the game manual, a world map, custom-made grid paper to print out "for all your mapping needs", theme music, wallpapers, a team photo and concept art.

As for the game itself, Almost Human promises an "old-school dungeon crawling game inspired by Dungeon Master, Eye of the Beholder and Ultima Underworld."

You can expect vast dungeons "riddled with hidden switches, pressure plates, sliding walls, trapdoors and more," as well as spells, runes, potion crafting, lost artifacts and plenty more traditional fantasy RPG trimmings.

The impressive trailer below makes an excellent starting point for the uninitiated.
