Lumines: Electronic Symphony tracklist revealed
Underworld, Aphex Twin, Chemical Brothers for Vita title.
The full tracklist for Ubisoft's forthcoming Vita music puzzler Lumines: Electronic Symphony has been announced.
As detailed on the PlayStation Blog, Underworld, Aphex Twin, Chemical Brothers, Air and the Pet Shop Boys are among the 33 different acts featured on the game, due out on 22nd February.
"Our goal was simple. We wanted to tell a story through sound," producer James Mielke explained.
"With this in mind, our song selection was done to replicate a groovy lounge instead of trying to develop a non-stop 140BPM megamix. The soundtrack is designed to rise and fall like waves, giving the player both rhythm and respite, which would feel like a musical journey."

I'm personally most curious still about some of the gameplay tweaks and of course how the live score lists are now integrated. If the gameplay feels fresh enough, I may dip in again. With the original, after a while I only wanted to play the Time Trials, getting better and better in those (I got to something like 90 in 60 secs 250 in 180, etc.) is so satisfying, but it was disappointing to be stuck with the same sound and skins in that, so I would like improvements in that area too.
Having said that, I do agree this is a very, very good tracklist (very cool that Windowlicker is in there! I bet though the background effects are nothing like the video
1. This is the type of game I'd prefer to have on my memory stick.
2. It would be great if you could play back songs from one game in another game. I wouldn't at all mind having these songs mixed into my Wipeout sessions, for instance!

It doesn't sound bigger than Lumines 2 though. Lumines 2 had about 60 songs in its track list across Classes A, B & S, plus a few other tracks for the various modes.
