They're surely not going to have the balls to charge for any of this are they?

Blimey, I thought Eden were no more? I bought this game late but enjoyed it, might load it up again when this update hits.

@4gate As far as I know, all previous updates were free.

Too late. Can't polish a turd, mate. I got this one for next to nothing on Steam, and it's nothing but a bad joke.

    TDU2 4 EVA

Yes, I know it's rubbish really, but I'll always love it.
  • Eldritch #5 6 months ago

@Oli I actually work on it and never got paid, so maybe I'm a bit biased. But even apart from that the game is utter shite.

I was wondering to myself to other day why I still hadnt picked this game up, I'm getting it asap if they are addding a harley to it :D
  • orren #7 6 months ago

Dunno, i really like it. Don't much care for the races and clothes and crap, but to just load it up, and start driving straight ahead enjoying the scenery, i find very relaxing.

Yea shame its a shit game.
TDU1 on the other hand was great :)

I might even re-install this just for the Harley or the F599XX. Assuming it doesn't cost a lot and the servers are still running!
The game was as bad as it was good, if that makes sense, I kinda had some fun...

@orren Since I couldn't even complete the bloody tutorial, because the final waypoint was INSIDE a building, I found it much more relaxing to uninstall this game.

I forgot i even had this game...i think i stopped playing it for something else. What i do not know . . .
    Hope its a freebie.

I tried so hard to like this game, completed the 1st island to 100% but couldnt face the 2nd. I agree its kinda cool to cruise around the roads, but the handling is still very very strange, and the cut scenes awful. Its on my pile to trade-in (for 3-4 quid no doubt), but maybe I'll fire it up one last time.

I've been playing this on and off since it came out; I've done everything there is to do on Ibiza and have moved on to Oahu. As with all driving games, you have to get used to its handling model; if you can't, you won't like it. I struggled with one Eliminator event where I couldn't finish better than 2nd until I switched to a slower car that could go round corners better - then I won on the first try. I like being able to just drive around the entire island - anywhere you like that's not fenced off - without having to do anything competitive. It has its silly elements, but hey - it's a game.

I was going to pick this up cheap on Steam during one of their sales because I simply fancied spending a few minutes here and there driving around these huge maps. Then I saw the DRM information - SecuROM? Installation limits? Fuck that.

I still have a soft spot for this. Sure it was riddled with bugs at launch but driving round a geographically accurate Ibiza in Supercars is quite fun.

They going to update it so you can replay cup events and get the pot of money at the end?

I really enjoyed this game with x360pad, on PC..finished to whole career and played some MP with friends. Ibiza is wonderful. Actually I wish studio of Slightly Mad caliber would take this concept (open world, exotic cars, police..) and make a game with graphics and immersion of shift2/CARS. That would be my ideal driving game.

And a bout god dammbed time for the bikes to return, despite having a measly three its a start. The best thing about TDU was having my gixxer or my ninja beat my mate in his ferari or lambo. Two wheels are much better than four!
