Yakuza: Of the End heading west?

The emergence of a new Yakuza trademark suggests zombie-filled PlayStation 3 exclusive Of the End will launch in the West.

A European trademark filing, spotted by Joystiq, was made this week by Sega for a video game called Yakuza: Dead Souls.

Of the End introduced zombies into the Yakuza franchise. Zombies. Dead Souls. Zombies... Dead Souls.

Included with the trademark filing was a logo, below.

Yakuza: Of the End launched in the Japan earlier this year and topped the charts. Eurogamer's Yakuza: Of the End import review returned a 7/10.

The last game in the PlayStation-exclusive series to launch in the UK was Yakuza 4, which Eurogamer awarded an 8/10 earlier this year.
