Killzone 3 leaked online

Two weeks before launch.

Just days after Crytek's upcoming first-person shooter Crysis 2 leaked online, reports are coming in that Guerrilla Games' upcoming first-person shooter has also leaked online.

The pirated version of Killzone 3, available two weeks before the launch of the game, only runs on hacked PS3s.

The file available on Torrent sites is, according to reports, the European version of game and weighs in at 41.4GB. A non-3D version is doing the rounds at roughly half the size.

This is the first major leak suffered by Sony's PlayStation 3, and it comes as the Japanese console manufacturer is embroiled in a lawsuit against 21 year-old George "GeoHot" Hotz – the hacker who cracked the PS3's security open.

Last week a US judge ordered Hotz to turn over his hard drive to Sony for inspection. Sony is threatening to sue anybody who posts Hotz's jailbreak code online.
