More multiplayer DLC for Medal of Honor

Hot Zone pack incoming, not free this time.

A new multiplayer DLC pack is on its way to Medal of Honor, publisher EA has announced.

Hot Zone adds a 'king of the hill' mode where teams scrap it out for a designated location. Two new maps - Hindukush Pass and Korengal Outpost – are also added, as well as redesigned versions of the popular Shahikot Valley and Helmand Valley layouts.

Unlike the recently announced Clean Sweep DLC, you'll have to open your wallets for this one. It's due on PC, PlayStation Network and Xbox Live on 2nd November, priced 800 MS Points or $9.99.

Medal of Honor has been picking up some impressive sales since launch. Eurogamer's Tom Bramwell deemed it worthy of 8/10 when it arrived on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 last month.

So it's out the same date as the free one? The week before Call of Duty is released? Well at least they know their market, get it all out before CoD hits and people move on.

It's getting to the point where they are packaging up 4/5ths of the game and trying to charge an extra amount for the last 1/5th of it. Seriously, money for a KoTH mode? Even Activision are not that mercenary.

Agreed, this stuff should be on the disc that early adaptors bought at a premium price (i myself am waiting on BF:BC2 Vietnam).

Things are heading to the point where we'll be getting a multiplayer demo with the single player campaign.

This game has many issues that need to be fixed via patches. Overpowered Sniper rifles (hitbox/hit detection), spawn raping, lag, etc. One of the problems has been the map design with its choke points but no flank paths as well as having a sight line to the opposing team's fixed spawn points which leads to spawn raping. So now they are "redesigning" their maps meaning they are fixing the problems but we have to pay for it. The maps should have been designed properly to begin with.

Basically one by one they are going to "redesign" aka fix all of their maps but we have to pay for their mistakes.

Considersing I'm bored of the meager offering in the full game I will pass on the fleecing. Bad EA.

If the horribly unbalanced multiplayer is unchanged, I'm not going to fork out 10 euros only to get frustrated with it.

I like more an official expansion with 8 maps after a year priced 30 €/$ rather a pack of 2-4 maps each 2 months priced 10 €. Is better to avoid community fragmentation. It also hides better the fact that all the DLC content was ready when the game was released.

Anyway, I think that BC 2 is way better mp so I didn't bought MoH.

First, I like the MoH's MP.. But Team Assault and Sector Control only, because the other modes are useless with to many people not understanding the game (to many camping snipers on attacking team etc).. The 2 TDM gamemodes make it much less frustration playing with those people as you're more free to go your own way and less dependant on your "stupid" teammates..

But as much as I like the MP, it seriously lacks content in terms of maps offcourse.. There's only 4-5 maps I can play, so that gets boring fast.. And what doesn EA do? They release extra maps for a fee.. Seriously, they need to **** off.. The SP was way to short aswell.. Why did we pay 50 euro for this game anyway??

And still no patch to fix some issues aswell.. But the 1st paid DLC is ready to go.. *sigh*

Valve please come with Half-Life 3 and CS2 soon.. We're kindof fedup with the commercial crap from EA and Activision etc..
