Wow, that's over half the price of the game again in order to get some additional costumes.

1440MS points for some goddamn costumes? WTF Capcom!
  • menage #5 2 years ago

They are expensive but this has already been going on since the original SF4. Don't buy I say if you dislike.
  • menage #6 2 years ago

Yeah, me too, kinda meant the disliking of the price.

Big Street Fighter fan but won't be buying this (or the previous all-in-one costume pack) until they reduce the price. Far too expensive for what it is.

even worse,Super Street Fighter 4 is £14.99 in HMV now(has been for awhile i think),so its nearly the same price,as according to Xbox Currency converter 1440 is £12.34

(just looked on GAME and the game is £17.99 there, but £12.99 pre-owned,LOL)

it would be better if they were unlocks or something,Capcom must be raking it in

bugger off crapcom is that why you wont release this on the PC? cos most of the fan made costumes in SSF4 were 100 times better than the crap your charging for
  • bad09 #10 2 years ago

I've said it recently, it sickens me that Capcom don't even want to bother selling me the game on the PC yet are quite happy to ruin the good name of Street Fighter with this console fleecing with costumes that were once unlocked in beat 'em ups.

It's a terrible crime that they will no doubt make a fortune out of it...

If people would actually buy it then I would agree. No doubt it didn't sell enough to warrnat another PC version. Especially since Capcom apparantly likes money.

The price of these costumes is insane. But they did lower the price point on SSF4 enough to make me cut them some slack. It's always optional (like people would slap on 20 bucks extra for a poster and an audio cd in a collector's edition)l. The game doesn't change at all because of it.

I would never pay real money for silly virtual clothes..

..unless it's skimpy virtual clothes for virtual women

    I hate myself :(
  • FuzzyDuck #13 2 years ago

Well, they launched this at a budget price and it can be bought now for very little, so seeing as these are all optional extras that do not alter the actual game, Capcom can plough ahead (although i never intend to buy them).
  • coderkind #14 2 years ago

I could see how they would charge for an "arcade edition" download for around that price (with the rumoured six additional characters and balance tweaks), but not for costumes.

At those prices it's only making people angry. It's not remotely in the right ballpark to be considered a fair price.

So, capcom has those costumes for the original SFIV which I believe are compatible with the Super version. They then release one set of costumes and are about to release another for Super. The cow sounds a bit empty now. I don't have the Super version, but am wondering how long until a Turbo edition is released.
  • CaoSlayer #16 2 years ago

Capcom said that the costumes packs are used to finance the free extra content they release, there is always a free add-on following the release of the packs.

If this means that the Arcade patch will be free, then, it is welcomed.

And anyway, if you are patient you can buy the full pack for a pinch less. Right now, the super pack is 10€.

Escaped convict Guy? Don't you mean Cody? What kind of Streetfighter fans do you call yourselves?!
