Shots on, er, today.

Capcom is preparing another icy burst of content for Lost Planet: Extreme Condition in the shape of two new downloadable multiplayer levels, both of which are due for release on Xbox Live Marketplace on 6th April, this Friday. Good!

"Hive Complex" is an abandoned mine with twisty tunnels and bridges fought over on a war-torn mountainside, while "Trial Point" is an office complex set against a city centre backdrop. The pair of them will set you back 400 Microsoft points (GBP 3.40 / EUR 4.65).

You can see how the pair of them are shaping up in the depths of our Lost Planet screenshot gallery, and don't forget that you can already grab hold of the Radar Field and Island 902 maps, which go for the same bundled price.

For more on the game, check out our Lost Planet: Extreme Condition review, or you could just download the single- and multiplayer demos off Live Marketplace. Unless you own it already, in which case that would be silly.
