Hitman 2 and Lego DC Super-Villains get playable demos and dev sessions at EGX

Killer lineup.

Attendees at this year's EGX, the gaming show taking place next week at the Birmingham NEC, will have the opportunity to get to grips with Agent 47 and a roster of villains from the DC universe ahead of their official releases. Both games are playable in the UK for the very first time at the show.

IO Interactive will also be talking about the creation of Hitman 2 on the Rezzed Sessions stage on Saturday afternoon, where they will be taking questions on topics like why it dropped the episodic structure that proved so popular for the first game.

TT Games will also be talking about DC Super-Villains in a developer session on the EGX Theatre, on Sunday 23rd. Both games are out later this year, but will be playable by all attendees at this year's EGX on the Playstation stand. The show floor already contains playable versions of Kingdom Hearts 3, Life is Strange 2, Assassin's Creed Odyssey, Super Smash Bros Ultimate and literally hundreds of indie games. You can find the latest additions on the EGX website.

EGX takes place at the Birmingham NEC from September 20th to September 23rd and is owned and operated by Eurogamer parent company Gamer Network, although the Eurogamer team don't have anything to do with running the show and mostly attend to host some of the sessions and take advantage of the excellent sandwiches laid on in the staff room. You can buy EGX tickets here.
