Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 free DLC

Parries! Galactus playable! Invisibility!

Capcom has announced free DLC for fighting game Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3.

During a New York Comic-Con panel, reported by iPlayWinner, Capcom said the new Heroes and Heralds post-launch DLC is designed to destroy the game's balance - and is just for fun.

You collect cards based on Marvel and Capcom characters, which give the game's playable characters new properties and abilities.

New abilities include invisibility, assist super armour, projectile invincibility, parries, X Factor Blowback, Dizzying Attacks, special cancels into specials and more.

There are over 100 cards, and you can equip three at once for a total of 1.12 million combinations.

Heroes and Heralds mode is playable online, Capcom said.

Meanwhile, Capcom has announced that Galactus, the annoying, screen-filling boss from Marvel vs. Capcom 3, is playable in his own mode - details of which were not unveiled.
