Capcom drops Magneto from UMVC3 Ancient Warrior Pack

Delays DLC without explanation. Spain to blame?

Capcom has dropped the Magneto costume from the Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 Ancient Warrior Pack and delayed the DLC.

The Ancient Warrior Pack was due out today. It now launches on 6th March in the US and 7th March in Europe. Capcom failed to explain the delay, but did apologise in a note on the Capcom Unity website.

Without the Magneto costume, the Ancient Warrior Pack will launch with three skins: for Firebrand, Arthur and Hulk. Capcom said it will announce pricing closer to launch.

So why has Capcom dropped the Magneto costume? It may have something to do with its likeness to King Juan Carlos of Spain (picture credit: Shoryuken).

The next release will now be the Brawler Pack, on 10th January. This includes costumes for Spencer, Haggar, She-Hulk and Iron Fist.
