Deus Ex 2 intro released

Not-so Invisible War.

Eidos has finally come out of the closet and exhibited some new Deus Ex: Invisible War footage at this week's GC2003 show in Germany. Now available as a 30MB download, the trailer doesn't contain any in-game footage but outlines the game's backstory in a three minute rendered cut scene, featuring the notable drawl of one Walton Simons. Well, we assume it's him anyway. While we're usually not particularly interested in this type of trailer release (we want game footage!), we thought some of you may well be interested in what is admittedly an extremely intriguing snippet of this massively anticipated title's plot. It certainly got us a little bit more excited about Invisible War after hearing precisely nothing from Ion Storm for a good while - nice to know they're still alive.
