New Witcher 3 CGI trailer tops the lot

If you go down to the woods today...

The Witcher games are synonymous with lavish CGI trailers and the newly released A Night to Remember Witcher 3 video tops the lot.

What it does better than any Witcher video before is give an idea of what you'll be playing, not lose itself in glitz and glamour and have no real bearing on the actual game.

You track down an enemy because you've been paid to, you drink a potion in preparation, and your medallion rumbles as danger is near.

You pull a bomb to uncloak the enemy, then you fight, sword dancing and body matching the ferocity of your foe. Then comes your magic before your wily experience outwits your foe. Soon you're on the attack, finishing with your new crossbow.

It's beautiful, it's brutal, it's the game encapsulated.

I've included older Witcher CGI trailers for comparison.

The Witcher 2 opening cinematic.
The Witcher 1 opening cinematic.
Aaand the Witcher 3 opening cinematic.
