Netflix Beyond Good & Evil film announced

When pigs fly.

Netflix has announced it's working on a Beyond Good & Evil film.

Hot on the heels of confirmation Netflix is working on an animated Splinter Cell series, the streaming service revealed it's making a movie based on Ubisoft's space pirate adventure, too.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the Beyond Good & Evil movie is directed by Detective Pikachu and Goosebumps director Rob Letterman.

The film is described as a hybrid live-action/animated feature. It's early days, and the search is on for writers to adapt the game.
