Mega Man is in Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 - but not in the way fans had hoped.
A downloadable skin will be made available for Zero, the Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 strategy guide (via Joystiq) reveals.
Pricing and release date remain unannounced.
Meanwhile, Capcom has announced a raft of US-specific pre-order bonuses on Capcom Unity. These include alternative costume images for most of the characters in the game.
The Japanese company mentions that character packs with unannounced alternate costumes, including model changes, will be available as DLC "in the coming weeks". More news on these is expected soon. We assume these include the Mega Man costume for Zero.
Capcom has confirmed that Marvel vs. Capcom 3 downloadable characters Jill Valentine and Shuma-Gorath will transfer over to UMVC3, if you bought them. Their alternative costumes are provided free of charge.
