THQ has revealed how it plans to offload the 1.4 million unsold uDraw units responsible for dragging down it latest quarterly financial report.
Revenue from the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of THQ's uDraw tablet peripheral was a staggering $100 million below the publisher's expectations.
Speaking during an investor Q&A earlier today, CFO Paul Pucino revealed that the publisher has around 1.4 million unsold units collecting dust in its inventory.

THQ has invented a drawing tablet for Wii called the uDraw GameTablet.
Due Christmas time, the tablet is roughly as big as a Wii console on its side but only an inch-and-a-half thick. Specifically the uDraw GameTablet measures 9x6 inches, with an effective 4x6 inch drawing area.
There's housing for a Wiimote, and power is drawn directly from the controller, meaning the tablet can be picked up and the motion sensing capabilities of the Wiimote used without interference from wires. There's also a pressure sensitive stylus that has two buttons to mimic those on the Wii nunchuk.
The uDraw GameTablet is made of pleasantly chunky white plastic. It looks a bit like an entry-level Wacom unit, and a bit like Apple's iPad - if Apple's iPad had been designed by the top men at Fisher Price rather than a bunch of SoCal billionaires in turtlenecks who like to abuse the word "magical".
