Peter Molyneux's Boot Cycle confirmed for GameCity festival

Will talk past and future projects, discuss inspirations.

Freshly liberated indie developer Peter Molyneux has signed up to do a Boot Cycle at this year's GameCity festival in Nottingham.

GameCity7, which runs from 20th to 27th October, will see the former Lionhead Studios boss take over proceedings for an entire day, scheduling events to "celebrate and explore" his time in the industry. He'll discuss past and future projects and his inspirations.

Elsewhere, there's an event to celebrate 30 years of the Commodore 64. The original team behind much-loved UK mag Zzap!64 will create a one-off commemorative issue.

Lego Batman 2: DC Super Heroes announced

Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment has announced the heavily-rumoured Batman 2: DC Super Heroes.

It features superheroes Superman, Wonder Woman and Green Lantern, and launches in summer 2012 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii, PC, DS, 3DS and PlayStation Vita.

Lego Batman 2 is the sequel to Lego Batman, the best-selling Lego game of all time. It's sold more than 11 million copies to date.

Lego Batman 2 and a videogame based on Peter Jackson's impending The Hobbit movie are among Warner Bros Interactive's plans for 2012, the publisher has revealed.
