Fictional Seinfeld Frogger score beaten

The astronomically high Frogger score dreamt up for an April 1998 episode of US sitcom Seinfeld has been beaten in real-life by a man called Pat Layaffe. (Yes kids, it's the January news rush.)

The 'Costanza Score' of 860,630 - laughed at for being almost double anything recorded on a Frogger arcade machine - was topped on New Year's Day by a winning total of 896,980 (spotted by Examiner).
