This fantastic Alienware AW2723DF gaming monitor is down to a great price from Dell

A brilliant set of specs for the price.

This Alienware AW2723DF gaming monitor offers the ideal mix of screen size and resolution with a vibrant panel for a solid price. Code HONEY5AWMON knocks a little extra off of the £539 list price to bring the monitor to £379, a great price.

When I said it provides the ideal mix of screen size and resolution, that's because the AW2723DF offers both a a 27-inch panel and a 2560x1440 resolution, giving you a nice increase in detail over 1080p while not requiring as much GPU grunt as 4K. Over a DisplayPort connection, you can also get a 280Hz refresh rate via overclocking - that's fantastic for competitive players in fast-paced esports titles such as Counter-Strike 2. VRR is included as well to smooth out the on-screen action regardless of frame-rate, with compatibility for both Nvidia G-Sync and AMD's FreeSync Premium Pro.

What's more, this Alienware option also features a Fast IPS panel, combining the benefits of IPS and TN panels with its excellent colours and viewing angles alongside being rather responsive, too. It's also quite a colour accurate panel, too, with upwards of 95 percent coverage of the specialist DCI-P3 colour gamut, meaning you could technically use the AW2723DF for colour-sensitive work, too. It's also capable of up to 600 nits of brightness, giving you sharp and vibrant images with solid colours and impactful HDR highlights. You also get both DisplayPort and HDMI outputs, suitable for a wide range of PCs, laptops and consoles, with the best performance permitted by the DisplayPort option. With HDMI, you're limited to a 144Hz refresh rate.

Much like Alienware's other panels, it looks excellent with a space-age design, and a smattering of Alienware branding. Its stand also provides good adjustment with height adjust, swivel and tilt, while its OSD is also easy to navigate and offers clever features such as Picture in Picture to allow you to look at two separate inputs at the same time.

If you want to grab a fantastic gaming monitor that brings with it a lot of impressive features for good money, this deal from Dell on the Alienware AW2723DF is definitely worth a look.
